Bringing people together through food has always been at the heart of Amal’s journey. She first introduced her BasBas sauces on MasterChef and wanted to share them with a wider audience—but didn’t know where to start.

To make authentic Somali basbas more accessible and inviting, we positioned it as a chutney. Using familiar language for British audiences, we instantly answered the key questions: What is it? and How do I use it?
